Something special is taking root in Central Florida. At The Grow, Orlando’s very first agrihood, a unique community is coming to life. It’s a place where neighbors can gather, families can grow, and simple moments become cherished traditions.

From seasonal gatherings and meals shared under open skies to nature-filled experiences and hands-on activities for little ones, there is always a reason to step outside and come together.

Rooted in the land and shaped by the people who call the agrihood home, there are multitudes of different ways to experience community. Throughout the year, the lifestyle at The Grow includes a full calendar of programming that gives neighbors opportunities to connect to the land and to one another.

Gather and Celebrate

Seasonal Traditions are the heartbeat of our agrihood, creating familiar moments for neighbors to look forward to with every changing season. At The Grow, we’ve created a series of signature events that will bring the community together year after year. No green thumbs necessary! Just an appetite for discovering a bounty of curated experiences.

  • Spring Bloom Fest: Excitement blossoms when the fields and gardens come alive with flower crown and bouquet making, live music, farm-fresh tastings, outdoor games, and activities for all ages.
  • Red, White, and Bloom: The 4th of July gets a farm-fresh twist with food trucks, live music you can tap your toes to, outdoor games, and a festive celebration set against The Grow’s working farm.
  • Harvest Homecoming: This annual fall event delivers an abundance of fun, including hayrides, hot cider and fireside s’mores, live acoustic music, kids’ crafts, and a table full of harvest favorites. Even furry friends get in on the celebration, with the pup costume contest.
  • Fireside & Frost Festival: Holiday traditions come to life with steaming mugs of hot chocolate, cookie decorating, local vendors, handmade goods, live music, and a tree lighting that spreads winter warmth throughout the farm.

Learning from the Land

Life in an agrihood is connected to the things that truly matter: nature, neighbors, and the food you eat. At The Grow, this connection is woven into the everyday, with experiences that invite residents to discover more about the land they call home.

The educational events, workshops, and experiences in our Root to Sky series will encourage residents to take a closer look at the natural world that surrounds them.

  • Bloom Buddies Pollinator Class: Celebrate National Pollinator Month and see the gardens from a whole new perspective, discovering the small but important creatures that move from bloom to bloom and help The Grow flourish.
  • Soil Stories: Dig into the basics of composting and learn how healthy soil plays a vital role in everything grown at The Grow. It’s the perfect place to get started with your own compost.
  • Glow and Gaze: When the sun dips below the horizon, spend an awe-filled evening under the stars, with the open farm fields providing the perfect backdrop for a little celestial wonder.
  • Monthly Farm Tours: Take a guided walk through the farm to see what’s growing, meet the people who tend it, and get a closer look at where your food comes from.

Where Little Growers Flourish

Even the youngest agrihooders have plenty to be curious about at The Grow. From cooking classes to garden science and nature crafts, our Seedlings events will give kids hands-on ways to learn more about the farm, the food, and what makes the natural world around them so fascinating.

  • Garden Science Lab: Our youngest residents explore life on the farm, discovering things like soil composition, plant biology, and native insects through real, hands-on learning.
  • Crafts from the Earth: Little hands get creative with seasonal crafts and nature-inspired projects made for curious young minds.

The Flavors of The Grow

The harvest has a way of bringing neighbors to the table. The events in our Sown and Savored series are designed to bring residents together around fresh food, shared meals, and the simple pleasure of knowing where your ingredients come from. Because when food is grown within your community, every meal feels like a celebration.

  • Farm-to-Table Dinners: Laughter and conversation drift on the breeze when residents gather beneath the wide-open skies, passing plates filled with fresh-picked flavors from The Grow’s gardens and fields.
  • Farm Share Program: Through our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program, residents can sign up for Harvest Boxes filled with fresh, seasonal offerings, ready to take home and bring to the table.
  • Put Up & Preserve Canning Workshop: Learn the time-honored art of preserving and canning, turning the season’s abundance into something you can enjoy long after the crops have changed.
  • Blend & Bottle Workshop: Spend a flavorful morning crafting your own signature spice mix from farm-grown herbs. Bottle and label your creation, and bring a little taste of the farm to your kitchen.

  • Farm Flow: Yoga gets a delightful twist when you share your mat with baby goats. Expect fresh air, gentle movement, and plenty of four-legged distractions.
  • Sounds of Soil (Sound Healing): Sink into stillness with a deeply restorative sound healing session. Let the vibrations wash over you, calming the mind, balancing the body, and creating space to simply slow down.
  • Farm Fit Bootcamp: Swap the gym for the farm and push through a high-intensity workout designed to get your heart pumping and your muscles moving.
  • Mindless Miles Walking Group: Miles and smiles come together when neighbors lace up and meet on the trails for fitness and friendship.

Growing and Gathering

The Grow is built around a simple vision: to cultivate a life well-lived. Life feels richer when there are reasons to step outside, try something new, share a meal, and connect with the people around you.

Here, the changing seasons aren’t just reflected in the calendar. They’re felt in the experiences that shape everyday life. The flowers that bloom. The meals that reach the table. The trails beneath your feet. And the traditions, celebrations, and gatherings that bring neighbors together.
