What Is a CSA? Get to Know The Grow’s Farm Share Program

At The Grow, food is more than something you bring home—it’s something that connects neighbors to one another and to the land that sustains life.

That’s where our Farm Share Program, also known as Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), comes in. Designed to bring residents closer to the farm, the seasons, and each other, our CSA is one of the most meaningful ways to experience life inside Orlando’s first agrihood.

What Does CSA Stand For?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between a farm and its community, where households purchase a share of the season’s harvest. In return, members receive regular access to farm fresh harvests while directly supporting the people and practices that grow their food.

At The Grow, we refer to this experience as our Farm Share Program—a resident-only benefit rooted in simplicity, sustainability, and shared abundance.

How the Farm Share Program Works at The Grow

When you join The Grow’s Farm Share Program, you become part of a seasonal rhythm shaped by what’s growing in the fields around you.

Rather than shopping from a fixed list, members enjoy access to the farm’s freshest produce and can choose from available items each week. This approach allows the farm team to grow responsibly, reduce waste, and celebrate the natural cycles of the land. It’s a model that supports:

  • Sustainable farming practices
  • A closer relationship between residents and the farm team
  • Food that’s harvested at peak freshness

What Is a Harvest Box?

For residents who join the Farm Share Program, the Harvest Box is how that seasonal abundance comes home. Each Harvest Box holds a thoughtfully curated share of:

  • Fresh farm flavors grown and harvested at The Grow
  • Locally-sourced artisanal goods
  • Local offerings sourced to complement the harvest

Some weeks may feature just-picked vegetables, herbs, or flowers. Others may include locally made bread, honey, or specialty goods that pair naturally with what’s coming out of the fields. The contents change week to week, reflecting what’s in season and what’s thriving—making every box a small surprise rooted in the moment.

Why Join a CSA at an Agrihood?

Living in an agrihood means the farm isn’t just nearby—it’s central to everyday life. The Farm Share Program offers residents:

  • Direct access to fresh, sustainably grown food
  • A deeper understanding and appreciation of where their food comes from
  • A sense of connection to the land and the seasons
  • A meaningful way to support local agriculture

It’s farm-to-table living without the extra steps—woven naturally into the rhythm of home.

A Simple Way to Stay Connected to the Farm

At its heart, The Grow’s CSA is about more than produce. It’s about slowing down, savoring nature’s bounty, and finding joy in the everyday rituals of eating well and living thoughtfully.

The Farm Share Program is one of the ways The Grow brings people and the land together—creating a lifestyle that feels grounded, nourishing, and refreshingly simple.
