Strawberry Fields Smoothie

Mar 26, 2026 | Beverages, Cookbook, Vegetarian & Vegan

The strawberry fields smoothie begins with this overhead view of fresh strawberries in a white dish, a halved pineapple, a glass measuring cup filled with orange juice, a jar of fresh mint, and a peach-colored smoothie in a glass with a red straw and mint garnish, all arranged on a wooden board with scattered ice.

As “winter” softens into spring here in Central Florida 😉, strawberry season quietly takes center stage. Fields across the region are filled with ripe, sun-warmed berries, ready to be gathered at their peak.

This Strawberry Fields Smoothie is a simple way to savor the moment. It brings together the natural sweetness of strawberries with citrus, pineapple, and fresh mint for a flavor that feels both nostalgic and refreshing. Pineapple deepens the sweetness, while fresh mint lifts everything into a bright, garden-inspired finish.

It’s the kind of recipe that feels right at home in a farmhouse kitchen: made from what’s grown nearby and shared with those gathered around your table.

Strawberry Fields Smoothie

Makes two 8 oz. servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • ½–1 cup pineapple (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 4–5 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup ice

Assembly:

  • Add all ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth and fully combined.
  • Taste and adjust the mint or sweetness as desired.
  • Serve immediately.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with a fresh strawberry or sprig of mint.
  • Pair with a light breakfast or enjoy as an afternoon refresher.
  • Add a scoop of plant-based yogurt for a creamier texture.
  • Freeze leftovers into popsicle molds for an easy spring treat.

Why We Love It

There’s something special about recipes that begin close to home, especially when they reflect what’s growing locally. This smoothie is a small way to connect to that rhythm, highlighting the strawberries harvested across Central Florida. Simple, bright, and full of seasonal promise, it’s a reminder that good food often starts right where you are.

Make it Local

If you’re not picking strawberries yourself, check your local farmers market. Many Central Florida growers offer freshly harvested berries throughout the spring season. Look for strawberries that are bright red, fragrant, and slightly soft to the touch. For a list of our favorite local markets, check out our Farm to Table Guide.
