The Grow Community Cookbook:
Sharing Homegrown Goodness

We believe the best creations come from close to home. The Grow Community Cookbook is a celebration of our local growers, bakers, makers, and homegrown culinary creatives who turn everyday ingredients into something special.

From backyard citrus-glazed cakes to honey-infused scrubs, this collection will highlight the flavors and makers that make our community unique.

Our goal is to create a collection that feels as warm and welcoming as a neighbor’s front porch. We want recipes that reflect the flavors, traditions, and creativity of our community—from cherished family dishes to the quirky, unexpected projects that make life a little sweeter.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Locally-sourced creations
  • Culturally diverse dishes
  • Kid-friendly favorites
  • Seasonal and holiday highlights
  • Beyond edible recipes, candles, soaps, and homemade concoctions are welcome

If it’s made with care and a touch of local love, it belongs here.

We're cooking up good in our agrihood

We can’t wait to read (and drool over) what you’re cooking up.

Purpose of the Community Cookbook

The Grow is Orlando’s first agrihood, and its vision centers around harvesting happiness, honoring nature, celebrating community, and cultivating connections. In the spirit of The Grow, this cookbook is a celebration of makers, growers, and creators who turn everyday ingredients into something meaningful. It’s about sharing stories, passing down traditions, and celebrating the bounty of the land.

And when we come together around the table, good things really do grow.
